Edyn

Edyn is a side character in Laid Out in Lavender. He and Morgan are dating. She has a very enthusiastic and energetic personality. They died via overdose.

Morgan

Morgan is a side character in Laid Out in Lavender. She is dating Edyn. They have a chill, laidback, reserved personality. She died by jumping off a building.

Emory (Emory Rose Martin)

Emory is the main character in Laid Out in Lavender. She lived her life by the books, was the epitome of "perfect". However, since she sacrificed herself to help someone else-- she died by being run over while trying to help someone in a car accident-- she ended up in what she views as "hell" (think Charlie's Inferno by That Handsome Devil). After she died, she was assigned to move into Kiki and Max's apartment. She has a punctual, short, people-pleasing personality.

Max (Maximiliano Moreno)

Max is a main character in Laid Out in Lavender. He is super obsessed with aliens, literally dying for the sake of revealing their existence; Max died falling off a cliff while chasing a UFO. Since everybody only humors him at most, he is very close with Ollie since although not believing in either other's obsessions, they relate to constantly being dismissed. He is also very close with Kiki since they've been roommates for a while (before Emory came along). He has an overeager, sporadic, airheaded personality.

Maggie (Magnolia Bellerose)

Maggie is a deuteragonist in Laid Out in Lavender. She is siblings and roommates with Ollie, and the two are very close. After Ollie died, she hung herself. She has a laidback, go-with-a-flow personality.

Viola

Viola is a side character in Laid Out in Lavender. She is the local bartender and knows everything about everyone. She has a caring, stern personality and died via blood loss.

Ollie (Olivier Bellerose)

Ollie is a deuteragonist in Laid Out in Lavender. He is extremely obsessed with ghost hunting, and even died for the sake of revealing their existence. Although his entire existence counterproves them, in the afterlife he continues to try to prove ghosts are real. Because of his obsessiveness, people often look past him, even though he is very clever. Max and him relate on this level and therefore are very close. He is siblings and roommates with Maggie and the two are very close as well. Ollie died in an accident where his ghost-hunting device exploded, driving Maggie to suicide. He has a paranoid, diehard personality.

Kiki (Monika Lu)

When alive, Kiki was part of a band called Kevin and the Lesbians. She has a one-sided rivalry with Maggie. She is extremely close with Max; he and Maggie are the only people that know how she actually died. She died via overdose. She is roommates with Kiki and Max. She has a sarcastic, blunt personality.
